Costs for hiring equipment depends on useage, value and whether guiding is provided. We will discuss your needs and endeavor to arrive at pricing that is reasonable and fair.

Background

Saint Andre (un-fairly) has a bad reputation as a location for expert pilots only. Did you know that France's most successful PG school operates in Saint Andre - How is this? - Careful appreciation of the conditions and picking the right time and conditions to fly with the appropriate skill level will mean you have a superb time flying in Saint Andre.

Guiding and coaching

	A dedicated guide will help maximize your flying potential. The service will meet your skill level and needs. This can include:
	Weather, task setting, site location & condition appreciation, air to air guidance via radio, XC mile munching, filming, tandem flying, debriefing using SeeYou flight analysis software, inter group competition.

Canoeing, Canyoning & Watersports

We have two basic canoes for hire by guests for use at the lake.

For the more adventurous we can set you up with a local guide who can provide more advanced equipment and take you to the best spots. These include ascents down through the Gorge Du Verdon and many other fast flowing rivers and rapids.

Sailing (hobbie cat and dinghy) is available on lake Castellane as are little electric pleasure boats.
For when the wind really blows experienced windsurfers you can loan our windsurfing equipment.

We strongly recommend that you take a raft ride. This is tremendous fun and a great day out for the family. We can help put you in touch with various operators when you arrive.

The lake has an amazing cliff diving spot with jumps from 6ft to 70ft.

Skiing & Snowboarding

Val d'Allos is our local resort which is only 30-40 mins drive away. A very popular resort with the French. From a posing point of view its not a patch on Chamonix or Wengen. However for diverse, superb skiing (all levels) its hard to beat. It also happens to be one of the cheapest resorts I have ever been too. Check out www.valdallos.com for snow conditions and costs.

Guiding and or coaching:

	A dedicated guide will show you round the resort ensuring you get to all the best spots, avoid lift due's
	Coaching on ski technique can also be provided

A dedicated guide can lead you or simply assist with route planning to ensure you see the best spots.

Trial Biking & Mountain Biking

Trail-Biking

	We have a 4 newish trail bikes - 2 x 250cc and 2 x 270ccHonda all for hire - we also have a kiddies motox.
	Tuition and coaching is given to all riders. (This has been the unexpected high point of many of our guests holiday especially teenagers.)
	Once you are competent - we can help you plan trips out into the mountains. You simply decide how hard and how technical you want to make your riding.
	For parties or those with their own bike, we can provide guided rides taking you to the most remote places and mountain tops.

Mountain bike hire

	We have a range of double suspension mountain bikes available for hire.
	We can provide a full guiding service taking you to the best spots. This includes 4wd transport to mountain tops to enjoy amazing descents and retrieves.
